Water rates reduced 2018

Some benefits are simply not advertised.

Many low-income people on water meters pay massive amounts for water but Thames Water gives up to 50% discount for low income or large families with children at school.

The Claimants Union spread the word around and helped with applications.

Result: lots of happy people! 0ne family’s water rates went down from £90 per month to around £45 per month this year.
